As I was praying this morning, I began to think about the different needs of which I am aware. I know those in search of a job, in search of peace, and in search of healing today. As I brought these needs before the Lord, I realized I was simply calling Him, Lord, or God. I paused for a moment and remembered whom I serve.

I serve Jehovah-Jireh – In Genesis 22:12-14, we find that God is the Lord Who Provides

I serve Jehovah-Rapha – In Exodus 15:22-26, we find that God is the Lord Who Heals

I serve Jehovah-Shammah – In Ezekiel 38:45, we find that God is the Lord Who is There

I serve Jehovah-Shalom – In Judges 6:24, we find that God is the Lord Our Peace

I serve Jehovah-M’Kaddesh – In Leviticus 20:8, we find that God is the Lord Who Sanctifies and Makes Holy

I serve Jehovah-Tsidkenu – In Jeremiah 33:16, we find that God is the Lord Our Righteousness

I serve Jehovah-Rohi – In Psalm 23:1, we find that God is the Lord Our Shepherd

I find so much power in knowing that the one I serve is these things and so much more. He is Jehovah, the Great “I AM”. He is more than enough for me and my problems and He is more than enough for you and your problems. Whether they are physical, mental, spiritual, social, relationship, or anything else.

Today, may you be armed with the power to boldly approach the throne of your Father with your requests, and believe beyond a shadow of a doubt that God will make a way where there appears to be no way.
